The Parts Driver Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $16.00 and $16.50
Position Purpose
The Parts Driver is responsible to pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, vendors and the dealership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting in the pulling of parts as needed to ensure correct quantity and accurate parts to be delivered.

- Checks with the body shop each day to determine immediate parts needs.

- Picking up parts from other dealers and delivering them as directed.
|
- Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up and checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery.

- Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry.

- Accurately collect money and signatures where needed.
|
- Provide quick, courteous, professional and efficient service to all accounts.
|
- Assist with parts bin checks as requested.
|
- Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.

- Responsible to maintain delivery vehicle including its cleanliness, registration, mechanical repairs and that it is unloaded and secured at the end of the work shift.

- Participate in all training programs that are made available as applicable.

- Adhere to work schedule and arrive at work and productively engaged by the scheduled time, making sure to clock in and out.

- Complies with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety and personal protection equipment as required.

- Safeguard customer and Dealer information per established policy.

- Exemplifies organizational culture and holds others in department accountable for doing the same.

- Accomplishes all current and future tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
